OWP is PCR raw materials (no virgin plastic raw materials are used). If a packaging weighs 20 grams and is purchased as 50% OWP, then 10 gram of the packaging is made of PCR raw materials. At the same time the 10 gram of plastic is removed from oceans and rivers through our partner ReSea Project. The plastic collected is not used in the packaging.

The OWP Concept

The OWP concept is packaging made in recycled plastic (land-based PCR materials). For each OWP-packaging, the same amount of plastic waste is removed from oceans and rivers through our partner ReSea Project. ReSea Project is certified within plastic collections in oceans and rivers. OWP is a direct way to minimize the use of virgin plastic and at the same time collect plastic waste in our oceans and waterways.
