ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
A circular way of thinking
There is no planet B. We must protect the environment and it is our responsibility to help build a better future for the generations to come. The concept of Ocean Waste Plastic within personal care products can make a difference, and OWP is a way for beauty brands to tap into that.
REMOVING PLASTIC WASTE
For every time an OWP-packaging is purchased by a consumer, the same amount of plastic is collected from oceans and rivers. On top of that, the packaging is made in PCR raw materials. If a brand chooses to, the collected plastic can be used to make new packaging (OWP+).
The beauty industry is reported to produce 120 billion units of plastic packaging each year (most of which is not recyclable). Imagine it that was all made in recycled materials so that no more virgin materials had to be made. Imagine that the exact same amount of plastic waste was collected from the ocean and rivers.
The focus on plastic pollution, climate changes and the environment has only grown bigger during the last years. As a company specialized in developing innovative packaging solutions, we want to drive the change needed to achieve a better future for both the environment and the packaging industry.

OUR IMPACT
The focus on plastic pollution, climate changes and the environment has only grown bigger during the last years. As a company specialized in developing innovative packaging solutions, we want to drive the change needed to achieve a better future for both the environment and the packaging industry.
With the concept of OWP, together, we can make a difference, and your company can play a key role in this.

CO2 REDUCTION
Reduce up to 73% of your carbon dioxide emissions with OWP recycled plastic compared to virgin plastic.
When choosing OWP you choose to work with (land based) PCR raw material and not virgin materials, hereby minimizing the use of virgin plastic. By using recycled plastic, you minimize the usage of fossil fuel production and consumption, which normally account for the majority of carbon dioxide emissions when producing virgin plastic. This can result in at least a 50% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, and as the highest 73% less carbon dioxide emission when using recycled plastic instead of virgin.
